Mrs Williamson - A professional, experienced teacher.

Mr Baggaley - My son's maths has come on leaps and bounds in just a few weeks, evidenced by great marks at school. More than that, though, his confidence and passion for maths have really grown and he now wants to do the subject at A Level. Couldn't be happier with the teaching Susan has provided.

Mrs Cyriax - A great tutor. His patience, teaching and encouragement greatly boosted my daughter's confidence and understanding for maths A Level. I could not recommend him enough.

Twana Siddiq - Anne is a punctual and an experienced teacher. She always gives her best, and my daughter feels very comfortable with her teaching and high manners. I highly recommend her as a teacher for private tuition in Biology, Chemistry and Maths.

Katherine Robinson - Dr Anne Davis is an enthusiastic and inspiring teacher. I'm studying GCSE Chemistry with her at the moment and I've found that her encouraging and non-judgemental approach is very motivating.

Dr S - Excellent tutor. Clear, thought out lesson planning. Established a great rapport with my son. He flourished and improved his confidence at the start of his A-Levels in Maths and Further Maths with her support.

Mr Millington - Vikki was very responsive to our enquiry, proactive about sorting out work and enthusiastic.

Mrs Mccarthy - An excellent and knowledgeable tutor who has helped our son to understand how to approach those tricky exam questions.

Mrs Phillips - MK has been a brilliant support for my son with his GCSE Maths. He is caring, thorough and my son has found his lessons enjoyable and gained a great deal of confidence with his Maths because of Matt's support. I would highly recommend Matt.

Mrs Marinova - The best teacher ever my boy loves his lessons, amazing attitude towards teenagers .10/10 Great full :)

Mr. Zacharias - Dear Aaron, I wanted to extend my extreme gratitude to you for the work you did with my son. We have seen a transformation in my son since he started working with you. He used to have a dark cloud hanging over him, and we have seen this lift and him grow in confidence and a positive mindset. He was actually looking forward to the Stats and Mechanics exam on Thursday and beaming when he came. We are so grateful we found you! THANK YOU!

Ben - Hi Aaron, I got the A! I have got into Exeter and got the A comfortably. In pure I had a weak p1, and then a decent p2, but it all came together in applied. I got 90% overall, with 41/50 in stats and 49/50 in mechanics. A short time ago, if you told me I would get that on an applied paper, I would have wet myself laughing. I can't thank you enough for how you helped me go from only answering one question on the paper to being one mark away from perfect. You were an excellent teacher, and I really hope you cherish this grade as much as I do because it is as much yours as it is mine. I hope you are able to enjoy the rest of your holiday, and I wish you all the best in future. Many thanks, Ben

Clare - Stephen tutored my 14 year old son who struggled with Maths. Stephen was really patient with him and conscientious in prepping lessons that interested my son who had found Maths hard and put up barriers to learning. Stephen made Maths make sense for him. We saw a great deal of progress from Stephen's tutoring. I would highly recommend him!

Mrs Richardson - Dr Ahmed was very good at communication, he replied to messages swiftly. He had clearly put a lot of time into the lesson he gave me and despite having a cold he delivered the lesson as arranged. He helped me considerably.

Jatin, Portishead - Paul has been tutoring my daughter for just over a year, shortly after she moved to Gordano School. She was about a school year behind at Gordano as the school starts preparing students for the GCSEs in year 9 and not year 10 as in other schools. I was looking for a tutor who would help my daughter catch up and improve her confidence in the subject. â€< Before his tutoring, my daughter hated Maths and did not believe she could achieve a passing grade. Not only has he helped her catch up with the curriculum, but he also managed to engage her in the subject. Her confidence in it has substantially increased, and she is even considering undertaking the subject at a higher level (post GCSEs). I highly recommend him, and I have no doubt he will be able to have the same effect on other students.

Sarah, Bristol - Excellent tutor. It really turned my son's grades around. I have already recommended and will continue to do so. Thanks, Paul

Location
Home Tuition: Involves a Further Maths tutor coming to your home to provide one-on-one instruction. This offers convenience as you don't need to travel. Online Tuition: This can take place anywhere with an internet connection. Small Group Tuition: Typically with between 2 to 4 children, and often occurs in a physical location such as your home, though it can also be online.

Individual Attention
Home Tuition: Offers the highest level of individual attention, as the Further Maths tutor focuses solely on one student. Online Tuition: Still allows for one-to-one attention, but it may be slightly less personal than home tuition due to potential distractions. Small Group Tuition: Offers less individual attention as the Further Maths tutor must divide their time and attention among multiple students.

Cost
Home Tuition: This tends to be more expensive because it involves one-on-one teaching, and the Further Maths tutor is required to travel to your home. Online Tuition: Often more affordable than home tuition as your Further Maths tutor does not need to travel but may still cost more than small group tuition. Small Group Tuition: Generally, this is the most cost-effective option, as the costs are shared among several families.

Flexibility
Home Tuition: Offers flexibility in terms of scheduling and curriculum, as your Further Maths tutor will only be working with your child. Online Tuition: Provides flexibility in terms of location and may offer a wider selection of Further Maths tutors. Small Group Tuition: Lessons will be more difficult to schedule as lesson times will have to fit in with other families.

Interaction
Home Tuition: Offers in-person interaction, which can be beneficial for students who learn better through face-to-face communication. Online Tuition: Provides interaction through video conferencing tools and chat, which can be engaging but may not suit everyone's learning style. Small Group Tuition: Allows for peer interaction, which can benefit collaborative learning and discussions.

The choice between home, online, or small group Further Maths tuition depends on your preferences, budget, and the student's specific educational needs. Each option has advantages and disadvantages, so it's essential to consider these factors when deciding.
