My son failed English twice and having been in-between schools and doing his GCSEs in COVID he struggled with focus. Anastasia was positive and encouraging, she was honest with him had us when he lost focus. He had work set for him to practice the structure of his questions. I have always struggled with English - it was always my worst subject, so it was where I got my lowest grades and had the lowest motivation. But closer towards the exams, I decided to suddenly reach out and get help, and I wasn't sure it would make a difference. However, after every single lesson with Shelley, my nerves were calmer, and I really felt ready and actually enjoyed it. Ms Mallett has been fantastic to my son and even though my son had to learn all UK school system because we moved from overseas, he caught up with his English quite quickly. Location
Home Tuition: Involves an A-Level English tutor coming to your home to provide one-on-one instruction. This offers convenience as you don't need to travel. Online Tuition: This can take place anywhere with an internet connection. Small Group Tuition: Typically with between 2 to 4 children, and often occurs in a physical location such as your home, though it can also be online.

Individual Attention
Home Tuition: Offers the highest level of individual attention, as the A-Level English tutor focuses solely on one student. Online Tuition: Still allows for one-to-one attention, but it may be slightly less personal than home tuition due to potential distractions. Small Group Tuition: Offers less individual attention as the A-Level English tutor must divide their time and attention among multiple students.

Cost
Home Tuition: This tends to be more expensive because it involves one-on-one teaching, and the A-Level English tutor is required to travel to your home. Online Tuition: Often more affordable than home tuition as your A-Level English tutor does not need to travel but may still cost more than small group tuition. Small Group Tuition: Generally, this is the most cost-effective option, as the costs are shared among several families.

Flexibility
Home Tuition: Offers flexibility in terms of scheduling and curriculum, as your A-Level English tutor will only be working with your child.
