Our son said he couldn't have done it without you. I'd absolutely recommend you to all. You've been a godsend for our son. Thank you Mr Gaitt

Our daughter has enjoyed her sessions with Ed and his teaching has given Phoebe some much needed confidence at a time when she was really not feeling at all positive about her Geography studies. Mrs Hall

Harriet really helped me understand the different exam command words and how to answer exam questions quickly and efficiently. This helped me as I now feel confident going into the exam. Jack

Harriet was brilliant, helping my daughter who has severe anxiety and not attending, school navigate GCSE geography preparation for exams. Harriet has brought her up to speed and equipped her with the confidence needed to feel comfortable taking the exams. I can only highly recommend Harriet. Mr Jonas

Colin's patient approach and enthusiasm have helped my daughter improve her English score from 35% to 68% in the two months he has tutored her. Mrs C Sawley Lancashire

Colin is a remarkable tutor and person! He has a particular gift of motivating teenage boys who hate English Language and Literature. My son achieved grade 8 in both Language and Literature after an intensive course of a few months with Colin. Mrs F Bale

Fantastic! As a former student, I can attest that Mr. Killick is an outstanding teacher with extensive experience and wisdom. He is exceptionally clear on exam and board specifications, and his knowledge goes beyond textbook theories, which is invaluable for achieving Level3/4 mark scheme A* answers. Highly recommended for students aiming for top grades. Mr. Killick provides thorough support, is honest and reliable, and always willing to answer all your questions, ensuring complete clarity. He truly is the best. Miss Bharthi Keshwara

Mr Killick was one of the most influential, engaging and supportive teachers I ever had at school. In Year 8 I hated geography with a passion due to previous teachers' styles, but after then being taught by Mr Killick, I went on to do GCSE and A Level geography. After suffering long-lasting illness during my AS year, I received a disappointing exam result but Mr Killick was there within minutes of me opening my results envelope with a full plan of how to get me back up to speed for my retake. I proudly passed my Geography A Level with an A* - my best mark, and fully have Mr Killick to thank for that! Mrs Catherine Lester

Shaun has really inspired my son with his enthusiasm and massively boosted his confidence in A-level geography. His subject knowledge and passion are exceptional, and this is rubbing off on my son, who now speaks really positively about geography, and it has increased his desire to explore the world. Shaun goes above and beyond in his support, often sharing articles for my son to read in his own study time and signposting him to additional learning, which helps him to further extend his learning beyond his lesson. I highly recommend Shaun as an A-level geography teacher, and I'm grateful that my son is back on track and is even excelling. Sarah

Excellent tutor. 100 percent reliable. Thank you, Shaun, for making all the extra efforts over and above the lessons to help . You certainly love geography. It's not just work; it's your passion. Absolutely brilliant lessons.  Bernardette

Finding the right tutor is hard, it's finding a mix of them having the right skills in the subjects (or multiple subjects) the student needs help with, building a rapor so that your child feels comfortable with them, have a good working relationship and of course so that your child does well and improves in those subjects. Caroline smashed it, my son Kieran enjoys learning with Caroline in both geography and maths, he had improved loads where he has achieved better grades and gone up sets. I definitely recommend Caroline. Mr Bincalar

Caroline is teaching my 15yr old daughter maths. My daughter struggles considerably however Caroline has come in with patience, calm and genuine kindness when teaching her and after just a few lessons we can see an improvement in both my daughters maths skills and her confidence. We are really happy and thankful that Caroline is helping our daughter towards her GCSE's. Mrs James

Mr Blake is an excellent tutor. We hired him to help improve our son's A-level geography exam technique. My son says that he is very knowledgable, provides good resources and is a nice guy. After a few sessions, my son has a clearer understanding of what is required to get full marks. Recently, his school geography teacher said one of his answers on a practice exam question was, a model answer. I can see that my son is feeling more confident and motivated with Mr Blake's tutoring. Ms Rudowski

Amazing at abstracting and decomposing complex ideas within geography and I am truly grateful, I would say Mr Moss has been one of the best teachers I've had in years of trying to get a good geography tutor. In my personal experience he has done more in a couple months than what teachers and school could do in years! Absolutely spot on knowledge about geography due to his hands-on experience with the world such as visiting many natural sites such as "Iguazu falls", illustrating how Mr Moss speaks from experience and also from certified sources like textbooks, reports, etc. Great teacher, mentor and guy. I am very thankful for this year I have spent with this tutor. Shriwang Mishra

In December of year 1 A-level, our daughter told us she was struggling. We hired Joel. In six months, she has gone from a grade U in December to a grade C in June, and is now determined to achieve a grade A. It's been transformative! Our previously struggling and overwhelmed daughter is now confident and engaged with the subject matter. And she absolutely loves him! Joel is an amazing and brilliant tutor. He's a born teacher who knows how to engage students, understand the subject matter and ignite their thinking. We - and our daughter's future - owe him a huge debt of thanks. Carol H (parent)

Mr Cuthbertson was a friendly, helpful and well-qualified teacher who helped our son achieve a grade 8 in his GCSEs in 2023. Cannot recommend enough. Mrs A Thompson

Would thoroughly recommend. Some aspects of the new AQA Geography GCSE 9-1 specification are quite tricky but with Dion's excellent tutoring, my son is feeling much more confident about the exam. Jacqui

Joel was amazing with my son in sixth form. He took the time to understand the focus areas and ensured that no time was wasted. A big part of Joel's approach included making sure that my son felt confident in what he was doing, and this made him more comfortable applying himself. Joel managed to get my son the geography grade he needed to get into university when it wasn't looking likely after his mocks. Thanks so much! Mrs T

Location
Home Tuition: Involves a GCSE Geography tutor coming to your home to provide one-on-one instruction. This offers convenience as you don't need to travel. Online Tuition: This can take place anywhere with an internet connection. Small Group Tuition: Typically with between 2 to 4 children, and often occurs in a physical location such as your home, though it can also be online.

Individual Attention
Home Tuition: Offers the highest level of individual attention, as the GCSE Geography tutor focuses solely on one student. Online Tuition: Still allows for one-to-one attention, but it may be slightly less personal than home tuition due to potential distractions. Small Group Tuition: Offers less individual attention as the GCSE Geography tutor must divide their time and attention among multiple students.

Cost
Home Tuition: This tends to be more expensive because it involves one-on-one teaching, and the GCSE Geography tutor is required to travel to your home. Online Tuition: Often more affordable than home tuition as your GCSE Geography tutor does not need to travel but may still cost more than small group tuition. Small Group Tuition: Generally, this is the most cost-effective option, as the costs are shared among several families.

Flexibility
Home Tuition: Offers flexibility in terms of scheduling and curriculum, as your GCSE Geography tutor will only be working with your child. Online Tuition: Provides flexibility in terms of location and may offer a wider selection of GCSE Geography tutors. Small Group Tuition: Lessons will be more difficult to schedule as lesson times will have to fit in with other families.

Interaction
Home Tuition: Offers in-person interaction, which can be beneficial for students who learn better through face-to-face communication. Online Tuition: Provides interaction through video conferencing tools and chat, which can be engaging but may not suit everyone's learning style. Small Group Tuition: Allows for peer interaction, which can benefit collaborative learning and discussions.

The choice between home, online, or small group GCSE Geography tuition depends on your preferences, budget, and the student's specific educational needs. Each option has advantages and disadvantages, so it's essential to consider these factors when deciding.
