Dear Dr Chilton, I can't thank you enough. Thank you so so so much. I don't deserve such a dedicated mentor not only for your physics skill, but for being a true role model. I cannot thank you enough for this. The only way I can think of repaying you is by working my socks off the next weeks to achieve the highest grade I'm capable of. Really thank you, again. I'm.. Dumbfounded really. Thank you. Yours, Ben Mr Ben Wind

Hi Dr. C! I didn't get the chance to tell you how much I enjoyed physics with you, so I thought I'd just send an Email! You taught with such deep passion and understanding, paired with so much humour and irony that I actually enjoyed Physics for once! We had covered the overwhelming majority of the content but I became so much more comfortable with the topics than I was before. Also, when you first said helping others was one of your top 3 priorities I wasn't too sure what to think of that, but I am now completely convinced and blown away by your willingness to dedicate so much time and energy in helping and teaching others!! I also loved your comment about school grades not being more important than everything else... So basically, please keep being you :) All the best, Karlina Miss Karlina Reisgen

My daughter has done well working with Ashley for GCSE and A Level Maths and Further Maths. She has also enjoyed working through problems with him and found him a great help when revising or tackling new topics in school. I strongly recommend Ashley for Maths tuition should you need it. Mrs Privelege Chiadzwa

Ashley is and has been amazing, he has helped our daughter more than we can ever thank him for we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ashley and TTYH to any of friends or family in the future. All the best, The Crowson's Mr Crowson

My son is doing so well with Jonathan. He is a superb tutor and a great ambassador for your company. Alice M

Jonathan has been tutoring my son in GCSE Science Trilogy, and Geography for the last year. Jonathan's input has been a great success. He inspired my son and quickly formed an excellent bond, which resulted in hard work and enthusiasm from an otherwise academically rather unenthusiastic young man - so much so that my son actually looked forward to his tutorials - a real achievement. My son's knowledge has improved a great deal and he was much more confident going into his exams than he's been in the past. Jonathan has put a great deal of work and thought into this year, and I wholeheartedly recommend his work to anyone looking for GCSE assistance. Gemma Adele

Mike was a fantastic tutor with my eldest son, helping achieve top grades in Maths, Physics and Further Maths A-Levels. Results day was a very happy day in our household! Professor Jon Steed

Anne is a punctual and an experienced teacher. She always gives her best, and my daughter feels very comfortable with her teaching and high manners. I highly recommend her as a teacher for private tuition in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. Twana Siddiq

Dr Anne Davis is an enthusiastic and inspiring teacher. I'm studying GCSE Chemistry with her at the moment and I've found that her encouraging and non-judgemental approach is very motivating. Katherine Robinson

An excellent and knowledgeable tutor who has helped our son to understand how to approach those tricky exam questions. Mrs Mccarthy

Thank you Chrissy, for your hard work in supporting my daughter in Improving all her college work. You are an all-around Tutor for Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This has really helped my daughter as she doesn't need to look for help anywhere apart from you. Your patience and commitment to supporting my daughter mean a lot to me. Richard

Chrissy has a great way to engage learners. She is very approachable and has boosted my daughter's confidence in her abilities. Kirsty

I was really struggling to find ways to help my son with his science subjects when he was feeling demotivated and lacking in confidence. Paul has managed to create a plan for him over the summer which was engaging, clear and pupil-led. He understood exactly what was needed! Plus the video recordings of each lesson will be invaluable moving forward. Thank you Paul! Amanda Barnes

Paul is an excellent tutor! My daughter is with him for a year. Paul was being referred to us by our guardian as our daughter had lost all her confidence in studying at her previous school. My daughter is not the type of pupil that whoever tutor you give her, she will listen. Finding a suitable tutor whom my daughter is willing to listen is vital important. Paul finds out the school curriculum (even I have no idea) and teaches my daughter. My daughter told me that Paul uses different teaching approaches with different pupils. With Paul, our daughter gets confidence in her studies, she loves Paul's lessons, and she gets academic rewards for previous term and this term! Thank you Paul! Linda Lo

Mr Waller is an inspiring and intellectual teacher who really makes the subject interesting. I used him for my A Level Physics work (CAIE) and achieved an A*. Mazen Hafez

Over the last couple of months before the IB exams, Andrew helped me tremendously improve my physics skills. He explained HL topics that I was struggling with, such as standing waves, using analogies that were easy to understand. He also helped me with my exam technique. Andrew is a professional and dedicated tutor that I would highly recommend. Carolina Olipinho

This tutor has a remarkable ability to make complex math concepts simple and understandable. My confidence in tackling GCSE Maths problems has soared since I started sessions with them. Mr Smith

She is feeling much more confident about chemistry, thanks. Mrs Mckenzie

Sammie tutored my daughter for her GCSE Combined Science exam in 2023. She is kind and patient. She has a great knowledge of the course and provided meaningful resources and advice. I would recommend Sammie to any parent who's trying to help their child up their grades. My daughter really enjoyed working with her, and she got a great GCSE Science grade in the end. Mrs B Green

Location
Home Tuition: Involves an A-Level Physics tutor coming to your home to provide one-on-one instruction. This offers convenience as you don't need to travel. Online Tuition: This can take place anywhere with an internet connection. Small Group Tuition: Typically with between 2 to 4 children, and often occurs in a physical location such as your home, though it can also be online.

Individual Attention
Home Tuition: Offers the highest level of individual attention, as the A-Level Physics tutor focuses solely on one student. Online Tuition: Still allows for one-to-one attention, but it may be slightly less personal than home tuition due to potential distractions. Small Group Tuition: Offers less individual attention as the A-Level Physics tutor must divide their time and attention among multiple students.

Cost
Home Tuition: This tends to be more expensive because it involves one-on-one teaching, and the A-Level Physics tutor is required to travel to your home. Online Tuition: Often more affordable than home tuition as your A-Level Physics tutor does not need to travel but may still cost more than small group tuition. Small Group Tuition: Generally, this is the most cost-effective option, as the costs are shared among several families.

Flexibility
Home Tuition: Offers flexibility in terms of scheduling and curriculum, as your A-Level Physics tutor will only be working with your child. Online Tuition: Provides flexibility in terms of location and may offer a wider selection of A-Level Physics tutors. Small Group Tuition: Lessons will be more difficult to schedule as lesson times will have to fit in with other families.

Interaction
Home Tuition: Offers in-person interaction, which can be beneficial for students who learn better through face-to-face communication. Online Tuition: Provides interaction through video conferencing tools and chat, which can be engaging but may not suit everyone's learning style. Small Group Tuition: Allows for peer interaction, which can benefit collaborative learning and discussions.

The choice between home, online, or small group A-Level Physics tuition depends on your preferences, budget, and the student's specific educational needs. Each option has advantages and disadvantages, so it's essential to consider these factors when deciding.
